 Yamhill County Solid Waste & Recycling


As of July 1st, 2025, curbside recycling in Yamhill County will adhere to the Unified Statewide Collection List (USCL) as part of the initial phase of Oregon’s Recycling Modernization Act (RMA) that is being implemented statewide.

*New items*  that can be placed in your recycling cart include:

•  Nursery packaging and trays made of HDPE #2 and PP #5
•  Plastic pails and buckets made of HDPE #2 and PP #5
•  Aseptic and poly-coated cartons like broth cartons, milk & juice cartons
•  Allows for plastic container screw-on lids to stay on

*Only recycle what is listed on the USCL 

**Items should be free of food and liquid when placed in recycling cart

***If your city or area has a glass collection route, those items will still be collected separately.
