Voters' Pamphlet Candidate Statement Filing Information (OPTIONAL)

- Our office will contact you once your filing has been reviewed and is ready for payment

- Candidates that choose to file a statement for inclusion in the voters' pamphlet in person must also submit their statement electronically in a word document. Electronically submitted candidate photos need to be submitted in .JPEG format

- 06/03/2026 First day for candidates to file for office with the city elections officer
- 08/18/2026 Last day for incumbent candidates to file for office with the city elections officer
- 08/25/2026 Last day for non-incumbent candidates to file for office with the city elections officer
- 08/28/2026 Last day to withdraw candidacy
- 08/25/2026 Last day for candidate's statements to be filed with Yamhill County Clerk's Office for inclusion in the voters' pamphlet
- 08/31/2026 City candidate statements become public
County Candidates
- 08/25/2026 Last day to file candidate statements for inclusion in the voters' pamphlet
- 08/28/2026 Last day to withdraw candidacy

- 10/13/2026 Last day to register to vote - update or register online at MY VOTE, mail a voter registration form, or register in person. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked today.
- 10/14/2026 First day ballots can begin to be mailed to voters
- 10/14/2026 Official ballot drop sites open
- 11/03/2026 Election Day - The Yamhill County Elections office will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Official Ballot Drop Sites will be closed at 8 p.m. Ballots must be postmarked or received at an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
