In partnership with several community partners, Yamhill County Public Health hosts an annual Opioid, Pain, Addiction & Recovery Summit every Fall. This event involves presentations and discussions from local health care providers, law enforcement, public health, and other experts in the opioid, pain, addiction, and recovery field.
This event aims to:
- Identify community factors that predispose patients to substance use disorder
- Describe evidence-based therapies for the treatment of pain and opioid and other substance misuse
- Reduce incidence of overdose, death, and other consequences of substance misuse in our community
